Paragraph with EM and STRONG tags for testing
WCAG 2.0 success criteria are written as testable statements that are not technology-specific. Guidance about satisfying the success criteria in specific technologies, as well as general information about interpreting the success criteria, is provided in separate documents.

Results
- JAWS 16/17: These tags are supported on changing scheme (Ins+Alt+S) to Classic / Proof reading with attributes.
- NVDA 2015.4: supports these four tags in Internet Explorer after changing document reading preferences. The beginning and start of text marked up by these tags is announced by NVDA.
March 2020 Update (Using Chrome 80 and Firefox 74):
- JAWS 2020 now works with Chrome, Firefox and Internet Explorer (not Edge) using Classic / Proofreading with attributes scheme selection
- NVDA 2019.3.1 seems to have added support for INS and DEL only (not STRONG / EM) for Chrome and Firefox
